Acromegaly

Acromegaly is an endocrinological condition characterised by excessive growth hormone. Patients with acromegaly develop bone growth, soft tissue swelling, an enlarged tongue and a host of cardiometabolic complications. Here, we address the presentation, pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of acromegaly.
