Acute coronary syndrome (ACS), as with all syndromes, describes a collection of symptoms. An important condition under ACS is myocardial infarction, or heart attack. This occurs when the heart muscle does not receive adequate oxygen and can be fatal. This video will link the underlying pathophysiology to clinical features, management and complications of ACS.
